After the first album, “Under Control” (2008), which was released on afmusic, artistically produced, recorded and mixed by Geoff Turner – a prominent musician and sound engineer in Washington, DC – here comes the highly anticipated second Longplayer by The Transisters – “How To Irritate People” – a cd with 9 tracks representing the sound of young band from Treviso/Venice: intriguing pieces, smart structures and a thoroughly studied post-punk sound, play with a strength and power that comes straight from the era of garage-punk-rock.

The Italian indie achievers already rocked half of Europe and were on the move with the RAVEONETTES and the KAISER CHIEFS. Who was missin power, Punk and poetry while surfing on the new wave Of New Wave, to those THE TRANSISTERS will come like an electric shock! On canned music their cool sound is like a conspiracy from THE FALL, GANG OF FOUR and early NEW ORDER. On stage THE TRANSISTERS make their songs alive: on the boards, edged punk-axes wrapped in sawing guitar chords. The result is between bony cartilage and powerful bass drum parts a physical Post-Punk monster.

“HOW TO IRRITATE PEOPLE” was recorded and mastered at “Inside Outside Studio Montebelluna” (TV). The CD album will be released in Germany on 07/09/2010, the digital version is available worldwide from 06/25/2010 onwards.

Sometimes it seems like you stand alone with a vision in your life. And sometimes two have the same without knowing each other. In case of afmusic and Zorch Factory Records it is the promotion of talented newcomer bands basically from the Gothic-, Post-Punk and New Wave genre.

The more both got to know and estimate each other the clearer it became a logical consequence to work together. The consequence of this collaboration is the now available compilation ‘Howly Night’, which is much influenced by the name of x-mas and offered as free download.

23 more or less known bands with mainly previously unreleased tracks are on ‘Howly Night’. With the first track ‘Dead End’ from Dorcel the listener gets trapped into a wonderful melancholic world, which is mainly the undertone on all tracks of this compilation.

Besides already well known acts like The Search, Curious or Camp Z especially the new names are setting the highlights on this compilation. An example for this are ‘Ghost In The Snow’ from (((S))) and ‘Game’ from Notes From The Underground. Everybody who likes the styles of music pointed in the beginning should see ‘Howly Night’ as a commendation. Music for cold winter days that warms heart and soul.

The Transisters wurden 2005 von Enrico, Meson, Alberto und Matteo gegründet. Die letzten 3 Jahre verbrachten die 4 Italiener damit, beständig in Europa zu touren und teilten sich die Bühnen dabei mit Größen wie Kaiser Chiefs, the Raveonttes, White Rose Movement, X-wife, Disco Drive, Vincent Vincent and theVillains, One Dimensional Man, The Alps und vielen Anderen.

Als Einflüsse gibt die Band Joy Division, P.I.L., The Fall und Elvis an, was sich in ihrem als Electromagnetic(New)Wave bezeichneten Stil widerspiegelt. Gemeinsam mit dem Produzenten Geoff Turner (New Wet Kojak, Girls against Boys) nahmen sie im Juli 2005 und September 2007 zwei EP auf, welche nun als erstes offizielles Release mit dem Titel “Under Control” am 28.07.2008 digital veröffentlicht wird.
