The Shock Project are new, are exciting, are fresh. And all this, although the individual members are actually all old hands in the music business and have worked many years with various bands (e.g. Curious). These times have left their mark, but time has come to break new grounds.

The Shock project is mature, adult music, which moves in the field of good old gothic rock, melodic gloomy Wave, Indie and emotional Progressive Alternative. Driving drums and a dominant bass are the backbone for shimmering guitars and spherical keyboards. Crowned by melodic, emotional vocals.

But not only the music plays an important role to the band members of The Shock Project . Beside their lyrical talent and the knack for hooks and arrangements, the musicians from Germany are damn intelligent. Their lyrics reflect the everyday madness. Times sarcastic, provocative, almost painful, sometimes disguised as a metaphorical critique of society.

The Shock Project will now realize their promising concept jointly with afmusic and the first single EP “Charly”, which will be released on 2/15/2011.
