It seems to be a swedic phenomenon wrapping popmelodies into a gloomy cloak – escaping the grey and depressing daily routine. For also The Search from Uppsala the press is talking about a beautiful retro-mix of wave and rock in the vein of The Cure and Joy Division. And the band don’t deny their roots, but paraphrase them in a modern way, which at least since ‘Interpol’ became decent again.

For getting a bigger musical range on the 4th album by now, they hooked up two producers they know very well. Kristofer Jönson by Jeniferever affected the melancholy, dark part of the album with songs like “Yes-Man” or “Swimmer”, during Elof Loelv matched the electronical parts on songs like “Distant” or “Other People” into a really catchy sound.
