Three years went by, since hearing anything from the industrial project ETERNAL NIGHTMARE. In this case silence doesn’t mean stagnancy, but they worked on their new album, which is very different to its previous one “‘Between The Worlds”, in the meantime.
Instead of a pure electronic release Nils Sinatsch, the project’s musical mastermind, promises guitars symbiotic with synth sounds and analogue drum machines, paired with vangueard elements of the 80s and 90s.
Harbinger to the new album “Days Without Sleeping” (Release estimated late summer 2011) the young choice-flensburger sends out the ebm-weighted song “Mothearth”. A clubhit with potential, which especially is a feast for the ears for long-established dark electricians. The guitars only have a slight application here, the song itself is driven by aimed synth sequences and electronig drums.
Next to an alternative guitar version and a remix of the american band Zwaremachine, there is the B-side “DestroYourself” and a complete new track from Zwaremachine, in which sequences of the main track are used, all including the five-track-ep.
The single is available for 3 euros (or more) on the bandcamp-website of ETERNAL NIGHTMARE, as well as in all well-known download stores. The sales revenue of the single will be completely contributed to the German Red Cross and with this it will be accorded to the medical help in the catastrophe areas of Japan.
