The mysterious Danish postpunk act (((S))) has spent a playfull summer in the studio recording 5 cover songs for a brand new release titled “THE DEUTSCH EP”.

On this record this ungoogable artist from the north pays his tribute to the 7inch single from way back when this media ruled the airwaves. Each song will appear in both in an english and a german version. For the next 4 months beginning on September 1st a new coversong will be released exclusive at Bandcamp (http://fustydk.bandcamp.com/) as download only with original artwork by MUNKVAD. At Christmas time the whole EP can be purchased at iTunes and all other well known downloadstores.

The track titles will be a secret until the releasedate, but already now we can reveal the first track from the EP will be:

(((S))) has previously released two worldwide acclaimed albums with original songs. The first album “GHOST” was announced as the best album in 2009 by british journalist, critic and mediaguru Mick Mercer. Please enjoy some dancable moments listening to “THE DEUTSCH EP” and warm up to the release of the third (((S))) album in 2011.

What have BMWs, forgotten radio hits, the color of gasoline on asphalt, auto-reverse walkmen, yellow lights, neon discotic advertising signs, the night, women, the ends of highways, the music department at the pawnbroker and the wait for the end of world in common?

These are all things that are liked by the french Waveband ACCIDENT and processed in their texts.

ACCIDENT are Maudoux Laurent and Jeremy Monteiro, cousins from Roanne – in the center of France, which early discovered their common love for music. Was it initially techno dance music, their passion for bands like the PIXIES or SONIC YOUTH soon began to grow. 1998 – the world was still in a trance fever – they founded their first band in Lyon. When the quartet then began to work with electronic instruments, the way to an Electro-Rock band with influences of the 80′s wasn’t that far away.

1997 Laurent and Jeremy left both Lyon and the band, but with an idea of a separate music project already in mind, and finally settled down in Marseilles. Influenced by the New Wave sound of bands like OMD, Tears For Fears or Visage, they began to realize their own idea of modern rock music.

Jeremy: “We wanted to do something exciting, something genuinely pop in fact. The goal wasn’t to launch a revival, but rather to use the sound machines of the 1980s in order to create something new and personal.”

Laurent: “It’s also a question of “hybrid” music, alternating between synthesizers, drum machines and more rock-noise instruments such as the guitar and the bass. We like to put the rhythms out in front on certain titles to produce a percussive, dance effect; I’m referring to “Human league” and “Adam and the Ants”. Dancing to texts that can provoke thought. Simple texts, word sounds, play of words…”

The result is this 10-song, self-titled debut album which will be digitally released worldwide on 30/08/2010 via afmusic. At the same time the six-song EP “Vert Bleu Noir” will be released as free-download.

Legion make music that you might describe as dark, alternative rock, but it would perhaps be more accurate, and probably a bit easier, to simply call it Goth. In doing so they acknowledge a genre which is stunted by both media misconceptions and ludicrous internal protocols – none the less, they try to redefine it in accordance with their own agenda.

The band is working on a new CD, which will feature songs that have been lurking around the band’s live set since 2009 as well as completely new material.

Legion’s debut CD, “The Hereafter E.P.” was released on CD in January 2010. The follow up, “A Fleeting Glimpse” was released, also on CD, in July 2010. Both EPs will be reissued on 08/27/2010 as download on afmusic.

After both albums “Best of” and “Winter Solsctice” Shino will release another single called “My Mistress” at afmusic once again. “My Mistress” is a return to their own roots, conscious sparingly in the instrumentation. Instead of acoustic guitar there is just a piano backing the melancholy vocals.

Acoustic gothic at its best, and another serious attempt to play honest and vivid music. The single will be available on 08/23/2010 at afmusic and at all known downloadstores as well.

After 3 years traveling through dark music, ghostfog’s first official album “Frightnights [under haunted stars] – bad night stories by seetha rao -” is released on afmusic.

The album is based on dark, emotional and bloody lyrics on morbid beats and theatrical melodies in a weird mash-up of true horror-stories and a dark, harsh electronic universe. After almost a year now Deied reports back with a new musical sign of life. The eleventh publication by now of the duo-Din Tah Æon n1n0 is still under the motto: “Deied is pain, Deied is insanity, Deied is art” steadfastly loyal. The change to the Netlabel afmusic in November 2009 didn’t change anything in Deied’s philosophy, and so it rattles and bangs at Deied, harder than ever before.

“Formation Of Chaos” is the new work, which combines over 50 minutes of hard and symphonic, screaming and suffering, destructive and creating pieces. “Formation of Chaos” is the beginning of the end and thus third and final part of the trilogy “… the … end … – Poisoned Wisdom – Formation of chaos.”

From 7th of June 2010 the album will be available on afmusic and in all popular download stores.
